Considering dipping my feet in autoslalom this year and I'm not sure which class I fit in. Seems like a slightly different setup from PAX where you have a list of allowed mods in a certain class and if you go beyond them, you go to the next class instead of adding up point values for each modification.

I have a 2012 Boss 302 which should be in FS class but I have a few modifictions (camber, rear control arms, replaced PH bar/watt's link, and wheels & tires), all of which put me outside of the starting class. All modifications are allowed in ST classes and wheel size puts me in STU. Alternatively, my car seems to also fit under Cam C. Cam C has a slightly lower index so I'd like to run in that class. Am I right that those two classes are eligible and do I have the choice as to which class I run in?

Thanks!

This document may be out of date and doesn't catch all the little nuances ...but except for going through the rule book line by line, maybe this will help?

Given the V8 RWD configuration, I'd guess ESP with race tires or CAM-C if you're running 200+ TW.

Sounds good, I am running 200+ TW so Cam-C it is. It doesn't look like I'm even eligible for STU based on a limitation in the spreadsheet, which I've confirmed in the up to date documents to still be true, so Cam-C is the only class that works. Appreciate the help.

Hi, another couple newcombers here, is this document a valid guide for class to use? http://www.asncanada.com/wp-content/upl ... es.pdf.pdf

(sorry just noticed this looks to also be within the main document linked from the post for tomorrow's event, my mistake!)

Actually the document you reference is the 2018 Car Classification document. The 2019 version is available online at http://www.asncanada.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/2019-Appendix-A-Car-Classifications.pdf and is the one that should be used.
