I like the red class letter outline... shows up well on silver and black cars...!

How about these? Colour is up for debate. Or we could stick with white background/black letters.

This got me thinking how it would be cool to have the main groupings with a different colour class designation, just like the IMSA numberboards, but it would be a hard sell around here to get everyone to buy in. Would look good though!

I like red, but I have a silver car. Black on white is fine with me too, might be easier to see for courseworkers too.

Some other samples

I also think the black on white is easier to read, but I really do like the colour element making the board really stand out.

If you were colouring the class section, I'd suggest different colours for each of the six ARMS Autoslalom Championship groups

IMO stick with black on white. I'd rather not spend an hour at the solo workshop arguing about colours.

Black and white it is, I don't need the solo committee reclassing my car as payback.

Should be getting these back this afternoon. If anybody is in the Bedford area you can drop by the shop to grab them. If you are going to nationals I can bring them with me.

391 Bluewater Rd. Can't miss it with all the broken German cars out front.

I'm going to be getting a couple more sets made up shortly if anybody is looking for some new numbers. It will be the wide version with white background same as on Scott's car.

I would do this too, but i'm in a dual driver car. Maybe we could leave a space for addidng/removing the first number? (_92 vs 192)

For anyone newer who wants a permanent number / class combo, ask me and I'll look it up.

Ok I will update the first post with the current list. I don't want to leave it too long as the first event is fast approaching. I'll double check the costs this year, but I don't see any reason it would be different than last year.

I think we should be able to pull this off. Maybe get the "1" on a mag background too. I'll check into it.

So from looking back at the proofs from last year, the 3 digit number boards were 27" wide instead of 20" for the 2 digit.

Thanks Steve, I appreciate it. If it doesn't work out, that's fine. If it's easier, I can make the "1" myself, as I have a little bit of magnet sheet left over from when I made mine. That way you'd only have to worry about getting a "_92 STR" made.

Ok, $25 for a pair of the 2 digit number boards, $30 for a 3 digit.

Monday the 24th will be the cutoff for this round.

Any way I could get in on this even if I'm in Moncton?

I'd take Number:30 and Class: STU

Yes prease. As for the number, go with whatever is easier for you. If it makes sense to just have it say '192 STR' vs ' 92 STR', go with that. I can easily make a blank to cover the '1'.

Thanks for doing this

I'll talk to them to see what is easiest. My guess is _92 and you add the 1.

It looks like I missed the boat on this, but if more were getting made (or if the printer is available to be contacted directly) I'd like to get one for each side of my M3. I don't have a number though, is that something that gets assigned to you when you start participating in events? I'm about to do the High Performance Driving School in two weeks, and want to do more events this year after that.

I actually just got my order back yesterday. I'll prob see if there is any more interest once we get into the season and do another order if needed. That way you can get a number and get your class sorted out beforehand.

Steve, Do you have these in yet? If they are, can I come by the shop next week, or are you going to be at the practice after the HPDS?

Yes, they have been collecting dust at the shop since before the cancelled event. I'll bring them up with me tomorrow.
