Registration is closed. Thanks to all 56 who pre-registered. Please remember to come sign the waiver when you arrive tonight. We will be pushing everyone to be on time and at the start line when it's your run...
MANDATORY PRE-REGISTRATION.

PRE-REGISTRAION CLOSED AT 7PM ON JUNE 14TH.

Location: Scotia Speed World, near Halifax International Airport, Halifax NS

Organizer: ASCC Solo Committee.
Course Set Up Workforce: ***Volunteers Needed
Timing and Scoring: James,Charlotte Cathy Partridge, and Krista Barron
Registrar: Krista Barron, Charlotte and Carthy Partridge.
Chief Scrutineer: TBD
Safety Steward: TBD
Entry Fee: $20.00 (for members of an ARMS-affiliate club).

Schedule:

1600: Gates open. Volunteers are asked to arrive.
1630: Registration and Scrutineering Open.
1730: Registration and Scrutineering Closed.
1735: Drivers meeting.
1740: "Official" course walk/drive.
1800: First car starts.

In order for this to run efficiently, we need to follow this schedule precisely.
THERE WILL BE MANDATORY PRE-REGISTRATION. IF YOU DO NOT PRE-REGISTER, YOU WILL NOT BE COMPETING.
Once you arrive on site, You MUST come sign the wavier, And inform registration you are there.
Registration will be closed at 1730 on the dot. Do not come to me 5 min late. I can not take you in. We do not want a repeat of last years event, 2 runs makes nobodys day worth it.

Insurance: As required by ARMS, provided by ASN Canada FIA. Waiver to be signed by all persons on-site.

Regulations: This event will be held under the General Competition Rules of ARMS, and the Atlantic Sports Car Club event regulations. This is the 2nd event of the 2016 ASCC club Autoslalom season.

Absolutely no speeding or reckless driving around the site will be tolerated. Driving behavior during the event will be discussed at the drivers meeting

Notes:

The ASCC has SSW rented from 1600-2000. Therefore the schedule as shown above will be STRICTLY enforced.
If we do not have time for every car to run 4 runs, your time will be scored on your first 3 runs.

Run/Work Groups:

All cars must have their competition number and class displayed on both sides of their car for the benefit of the Paddock Marshall and the Timing and Scoring staff.

There will be 1 run group. After your run you have 4-5Min to check your car and times, then relieve the person next to run at the station start informed you to go to. Competitors are reminded to report quickly to their workstations in order to ensure quick turn around. Failure to report for work assignment will result in forfeiture of points and any remaining runs.

Directions:

-Take Exit 6 off Hwy 102
*North bound 102 take left at top of Ramp and then take a left at end of road.
*South bound 102 straight ahead at Stop sign top of ramp
-Go past Air Flight Museum
-Go past Airport Hotel
-Turn left into large parking lot of Scotia Speed World
-Proceed to the gates to enter the track

Thanks to all 56 who pre-registered. Should be a very fun event.

We will be pushing hard for everyone to arrive on time, so as soon as your there come sign the waiver and get ready. There will be 1 run group and we will cycle workers as we run. All stations can be accessed without crossing the course

Would need a good bit of rain or thunder lighting to cancel. With the current weather forecast we should be safe tonight.
But if it we had to make a call it would be no later then 3PM.

This was a fun event, even in a very hmmmmm, different driving beast! Thanks Ben for the use of your car! In the dry it will likely be much better!
And congrats to Jon Conrad on FTD! Well done!

I noticed a torque wrench behind Bens car gettin rained on, so i slid it over a foot under a tarp. That might have been your stuff Scott, hopefully it made it back!
