Good to know for us people who have a hard time not being late! How does this work with the required drivers meeting though?

That part has always bothered me. In practice, that is not workable and if it was enforced would create problems for the organizer.

Yeah, I'd like to remove that sometime soon. With most clubs doing on-line registration, there is absolutely no need to leave registration open like that. A few people have called/text me to let me know they were coming but running late. It's an absolute pain for the organizer.

There are a few other regulations I'd like to change/remove. Would like to remove the second paragraph of 1.2.2. Think there was something else but can't think of it at the moment.

Lets keep this all in mind for the AGM.

Looks like the answer is in the next paragraph: "The organizer shall call all competitors to a driver's meeting prior to the start of the event. All competitors are required to attend this meeting."

Obviously just making allowances for all those times when someone shows up to the driver's meeting and doesn't decide until some time afterwards that they really want to enter.
