This is awesome. Saving for use later. Thanks!

step 1: buy BMW M coupe

lol, but seriously. After reading a few resources on suspension tuning I have realized that i need to spend about 3-4000$ on shocks alone to be able to do any of this kind of tuning reliably. Luckily there are enough resources for the S2000 out there to help me realize that i'm way too poor to run any class other than stock! I'm sure the FRS is the same!

Nope :) The feal 441 coilovers I run were around 1800 to my door and they place really well at the national championships in the states. Up there with v3s and they are $3000 without the camber plates. You just need to research and shop around I would say. I've seen used feals go for 750.

Luckily it's pretty often you see a set of Ohlins/KW's or other more reputable shocks go for sale on the forums. I could never pay the new price for these, but used once are often lightly used and way cheaper. plus sometimes they come with a few sets of springs!

Sweet! Now I have something to reference to tune my new (to me) v3's. Like mentioned above, only way I could afford them is by getting them used!

It is fairly easy to get lost tuning dampers, its not always as easy as it reads. The first few years I did auto-x stuff, I did basically zero changes to the car, and just learned how to drive.

Hence why I went with one way adjustment to start ;) It certainly makes a big difference though and I can change the attitude of the cart quite reliably to suit the conditions.
