Car is:
2007 Mazdaspeed3
Toyo R888 (225/45/R17 - one inch smaller than stock)
Will run spacers, but within stock width.

Potentially adding rear sway bar
VersaTune Stage 1 ECU tune (Not sure I am going to run this at events)


Stock, the car is DS, but I'm not sure how the new rules go. I thought before you could run +/- 1" wheels, and one sway bar more than stock, but now I am confused. I would like to have an idea before the regional on Saturday so we can save some time... What would I be with and without the ECU tune (still unsure what I am going to run).

Just read this again... I was supposed to be DSR this weekend not DSP. Oops. Can this be corrected? Or do I suck it up for being an idiot? I was wondering why my pax factor was so low with a reasonable time...

R888's stop you from running a road tire class but you could have run stock without the ecu...

Yeah I should have been DSR this weekend. Even if I had ran the ECU (which I thought I was on the drive over) the car wouldn't have accepted the tune right now, as the boost control solenoid is actually shot in the car. I'm running 5lbs less boost than stock. I found that out on Monday.

Ming said that it only could be adjusted at the event, and not after. Kind of unfortunate since it was an honest mistake that left me 14th and not 4th. I guess I'll just have to go even faster next time.
