Mark your calendars early. CMC's Loring 2015 Mega Autocross has been scheduled for August 7-9 2015 at the Loring Airfield in Limestone Maine. August 7 will be a free test and tune for participants registered for the autocross's on the weekend of August 8/9. The test and tune is a low key chance to test your driving and/or your car. It will afford you lots of seat time. The autocrosses will follow past pattern, but the theme in 2015 will be "Tail of the Lobster" Think of a fast flowing course that will challenge you in new ways.

So we have a 3 day extravaganza in store this year. Friday Aug 7 is a free test and tune, following buy Autocross Events on Saturday and Sunday (Aug 8 and 9). Friday night we will caravan to the Burger Boy in Caribou for car talk and dinner. Saturday the Knight of Columbus will host a barbecue on the air field.

Camping permitted on the runway (although there is no running water).

We hope to see many of our neighbors to the North there)

For anyone considering going, I've gone the past 2 years and it's mega-fun! A highlight of my season for sure! Long runs. Fast runs. Often includes a big elevation change.
