See the AMP calendar has ARMS lapping on the Saturday of the next race weekend. Any info on format and pricing for this event?

$100 lapping, we'll run in groups, 2 or 3, possibly more pending on number of lappers. Hoping to find a few more people to flag, if anyone is interested contact me.

OK, thanks. So expect it will look a lot like an AFRA lapping day then (same schedule, rules, just different people running the show)? Pay at the track or is there an early/"pay at the track" rate?

Hi everyone, we are going ahead with lapping Saturday September 17th, as previously mentioned, we will be alternating run groups all day, with a lunch break thrown in around noon. Alternating until 5pm. After that the race cars will hit the track for some open practice so if you wanted to stick around for a bit and watch them, more the merrier. Also, with a full race on the next day, you can stick around and watch that too, or better yet, marshal! See Nate Perron.
OK, so we're hoping to open registration at 8am, and on track no later than 9:30am. $100, and can be PayPal paid to treasurer@armsinc.ca
We will be following the ASN Canada FIA Lapping Rules, which can be found on this forum, or on ASN Canada FIA website.
This will be the last chance to get ready for the ARMS Time Attacks so I hope to see everyone out!

Any questions, just ask or pm me.

Is it possible to camp at the track on friday night? I assume it will be ok saturday as racers will be at the track. It would be great to save some cash by not getting a hotel room if possible.

edit: im only like 20% serious here. I have a wedding that day so chances are really good I can't double-dip using my unproven Neon. lol

Pending on who has the track rented that day, but usually yes. Normally Walter and Debbie stay Friday night too. I'll find out if they'll be there or not and let you know.

Last one I got was sub $10. Couple months ago.

Will there be food there or should one do a Tim's stop on the way?

As far as I know, there won't be any food there. So yes, a Tims stop or equivalent may be a good choice. Also there are places in Shubenacadie for sandwiches and pizza and stuff.

Does it matter where I setup my Tent this evening? I think someone told me the grass area up by the washrooms is generally where people go to stay out of the way of the campers/car haulers along the edge of the paddock.

Thankfully there is a Tim's just off the Exit 9 road that leads in to Shubenacadie, so you're only ever about 15 minutes away from one. The rest is like Brian said, though if you're overnighting it's worth bringing a cooler and possibly a camping stove.

Yeah, up on the grass by the washrooms is where most people tent. Along the concrete wall or along the edge of the woods. See you tomorrow!
