What exactly do mean by "street tires"?

I wasn't thinking of a specific TW. I was thinking of a non R-compound, although a TW of 200 is the lowest I've seen for a non R-comp.

I just ran a 1:18.7 on yokohama street tires (ad08). In a bone stock rx7. I think they are 180 rated. I imagine Someone has gone faster on street tires though.

Yeah, the Yokohama ADVAN Neova AD08 has a 180 treadwear.

I'll also ran a 1:18.7 with my EVO on Dunlop Direzza ZII (200 treadwear) last summer.

interesting that the two times are identical! I wanted to know the ballpark range of where I can expect to be when I iron out most of the kinks.. Sounds like a sub 1:20 is definitely possible. I can't afford a second set so I've been holding off getting tires that aren't street friendly because I drive the car often, which includes plenty of rainy and cold days.
