No I don't. What I mean is, it's not new anymore ;)

Re-ran CCDB. 3 PIP for intercooler + 9 for supercharger, with a Final PI of 73.4 landing it in GT2.

I'll be there...don't think I can afford TA, I'm probably just going to do lapping. I will pay at the track.

Do we still change admission for the time attacks?

If you're participating in the Time Attack or Lapping there is no admission.
ARMS is charging spectators $10 per person.

I'll pay on site.

I am now telling spectators (potential future competitors), Not to come out, because $10 spectator fees are in my opinion grossly overpriced for this type of racing.

I sort of understand the reasoning behind it, but still......

Or you could tell them to come back the next day for free and watch the races! GT racing, Spec Miata, and the Open Wheels too apparently!
Just to clarify, I meant free the next day IF they paid $10 for Saturday.

Also, I agree, $10 is a bit much for a solo event to spectate.

Red bracelets get you in Saturday, Blue get you in both days or Sunday only. $10 for the blue bracelet to spectators.

Or, if they drive a Mazda and contact Jenn about the owner corral, they can get in for $5 per car.

I don't control the gate fee for Saturday.... however if you know of anyone that wants to marshal, we are paying $80/day per marshal.
Best seats in the house and you get paid!
We still need 2-3 more marshals, so if anyone knows anyone who maybe interested please let me know ASAP.

Hmmm...it really WAS a great day for making horsepower...lap times were coming down until the wind kicked up. Glad to see so many people taking advantage of track and the weather to have a good time. I got sunburn and windburn standing at the Start/finish and whiplash from a few cars as they thundered by...makes me smile.

That was the last time attack event for the year...bummer...can't wait until the next one. Thanks Jason for having me out to these events, it was just what I needed and thank you to the other Marshals for having a sense of humour for my "funny" moments...hope you have a great winter and look forward to working the track with you in the spring.

Take care.

Thanks Kevin and certainly to all of the other marshals for helping us have a great day.

I think next year we should throw down a challenge to MMSC. Apparently they think we're not professional enough for them. I think we could show them a thing or two.
Thoughts?

Thank you Jason and everyone involved for running a great season. A special thanks to everyone for your help, especially Rob B. for helping me get home. Thank you guys!

I'm really looking forward to setting some new personal best lap times next season!

Rob, I'm MMSC. Consider yourself shown.

You mean MHPDC? I think they are aware they are invited to the ARMS/ASCC Time attack (although I don't think us non-full-time members are welcome at their events) . It would certainly make for a good event to have all the time attack participants in the region at once.

Ps. Thanks for the drive, the GTR is fun.

"OH SLAP"

Hmmm...I was kinda waiting for that reply Luc.

I think everyone is welcome to the event, although most private clubs don't play well with others...which could be why they segregate themselves.

Maybe next year will be different

Nobody said they didn't think we were not professional enough. Having a proven track record was what I said in the drivers meeting. Implying in a public forum that another club thinks a group isn't professional enough doesn't build our motorsports community.

Thanks to everyone for coming out, it was a great series, enough entries each time I believe, just sometimes. But pretty successful, lots of personal bests yesterday. I really enjoyed telling everyone how they qualified, by asking them their previous personal best, then telling them that they beat it! Congratulations guys, well done. Most memorable for me were Derek, and Rob. And Brent, but unfortunately qualifying was his best. Everyone else bested their qualifying times. And Luc set an awesome 1:15.0xx. Great job Luc!

I think I should clarify my previous statement.
We have 2 organizations doing roughly the same activity at the same place at different times. One might speculate that they have common interests. One might also speculate that both might be interested in some friendly competition. Stirring the pot in a positive friendly way might do our community some good.

Brent I appologize if I misunderstood your statement at the drivers meeting. However if we can get the MMSC or MHPDC, whichever one, and the AFRA club to play in the same sandbox just once it might be positive for all.

Politics has a way of ruining things.

... and Luc, you just wait until next year my friend. ;)
Well played this year and thanks for making me try hard. I never would have guessed that I'd be able to achieve times like that. Wanna buy some spec Miatas?!?

Rob, the guys who joined up with MHPDC are members of an ARMS affiliate of their choosing therefore are ARMS members. If they choose to enter ARMS T/A then so be it - they are eligible. ARMS instructors at MHPDC events upgraded roughly 10 lapping licenses to T/A's this season during an introduction to Time Attack. It was the intention of the organizers and instructors to introduce the group to TA under ARMS.

What you seem to not understand is that ARMS is the sandbox that all the member clubs are playing in. Each member club is feeding members into the same sandbox.

Your comment about professionalism is sh!t and lacks professionalism.

Luc, I bugged the hell out of you for almost 2 years to come out to the MHPDC events. So it goes without saying that if anyone is interested in joining in on the MHPDC events then please contact MHPDC!

Kevin, MHPDC held one introduction to TA for its subscribers. MHPDC is primarily a lapping group. MHPDC has held other introductory days in the past to other motorsport disciplines such as Karting, and Autocross. In part, introducing a group into a new discipline makes a better motorsport community not a segregated one.

Chris...your a barrel of laughs.

I am aware of what goes on at and for AMP and for what reasons, that being said....wait for it....I believe that what MMSC is doing with MHPDC is a good thing for AMP...yes I said good thing. AMP will never be anything but what it is, a club track with benefits BUT it is our track and we have it here in the Maritimes. Better it gets used by someone for something then to just fade into the future.
It would be nice if all of us playing in the sandbox could at least move forward with one goal in mind...to make our club track a better place to play.

...but hey, what do I know ! 8O

Yes you did and I would have loved to join you guys but they lack weekend events. I cannot close my whole business down on a weekday for events.
I am still correct in saying I cannot participate in a MHPDC event without paying for the rest of the club events that I cannot attend, right?

All of what you said is clearly understood. I am not clear on what in my statement lead you to believe that I do not understand how our organization works. I'm not claiming to be an expert but I am more in "the know" than the average member.

Also Chris, I have NEVER made a comment about any one of our ARMS organizations lacking professionalism. I did misunderstand what Brent had said at a drivers meeting Saturday and took measures to clear that up with him.
Please check your statement, read my posts again and if I did say something regarding any other ARMS orgazization "lacking professionalism" I will promptly edit that post and make the appropriate appology.

By "sand box" I meant that I would like to see all ARMS clubs get together and have a friendly timed event, meet some new people and have a great time.

Evidently I need to be more eloquent with my posts. Too much flak has come from me suggesting we get any and all ARMS members together for timed event.
