The 2020 Atlantic Region Motor Sports Annual General Meeting will be hosted/planned by ASCC and held at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Truro, NS from November 21-22.

At the AGM this year, the following Executive positions are up for election:

Vice President - Debbie Miller incumbent
Treasurer - Cathy Partridge incumbent

Dave Hull is Chair of the Nominating Committee- please contact him at irally@gmail.com with nominations.

Plans are still evolving (due to Covid-19) but this is what we are trying to achieve:

Saturday Nov 21 - Admin meeting held in person.
- Discipline meetings held in person with on-line component
Sunday Nov 22 - AGM held in person for Presidents or their delegates and the Executive only. Any other participants will be able to join the meeting on-line.

There will be no reception on Friday evening and no banquet due to COVID-19.

The 2020 AGM will be a bit different this year due to COVID-19. The meeting room at the Hampton Inn will accommodate 50 persons spaced appropriately.

The overall Agenda is:

November 21

9:00am - 10:00am Admin Meeting
10:30am - 12:00pm Solo Workshop
12:30pm - 2:00pm Rally Workshop
2:30pm - 5:30pm Race Workshop

November 22

9:00am - 12:00pm AGM and Calendar Meeting

The Directors for Solo, Rally and Race will be notifying possible participants to indicate prior to the meeting if you will be attending in person or via Google Meet. For each meeting, in person attendance will be limited to 50 people. If you wish to attend via Google Meet, you will have to notify the Director in advance and you will receive login information prior to the meeting.

For the Admin and AGM meeting, please notify (Secretary at armsinc dot ca) by November 18 if you wish to attend either meeting in person or via Google Meet. Preference for in person attendance will be given to Club Presidents or their Proxy and ARMS Directors for both meetings. You will be notified of login information prior to the meeting for those wishing to attend via Google Meet.

- wear your mask when in public spaces of the Hotel. Masks are not required when in a private business meeting of 50 or less with physical distancing.
