The bus stop is pretty brutal and takes some getting used to. There is a second setup that was passed around an hour ago:

Give it a go if you'd like. No worries though if you're not comfortable, there are plenty more races to come in this enduro series, along with a VLN series at the 'ring.

More iRacing than you can shake a stick at!

We made it do the end! 8th in class and 21st overall, 749 laps. Well done guys. Thanks Ryan for cat herding. When is the next one?

Well done guys! Great showing for the league's first 24 hour event on iRacing.

I've been running the event with the TNT Racing team and we're P9 in class / P15 overall. We had a number of intimate encounters with the wall and lost time during repairs, but it was still a great experience.

The next endurance race is the 12 Hours of Sebring in March. Already looking forward to it.

Well done TNT.

We made a few aero adjustments to the bodywork during the day as well, including a couple lengthy pitstops.

Only 12 hours... we should be able to field 2 teams then. Ryan's butt should recover by March. :D

I'm still having trouble walking

It should be a lot easier to have everyone run one stint in a 12 hour race, though I have to say that the 8 hours didn't seem nearly as long as I thought it would. You eventually hit this point where muscle memory takes over and your brain switches off. That is, until the DP cars start spinning all over the place and people 10 laps ahead of you decide dive bombing is a good way to lap.

I want to thank everyone for coming out and taking part to make this happen, and for being far better drivers than me (seriously, look at the incidents ._.)

For the 12 hour we can stick with GT cars or move to DPs if we so choose.

Until then, race on!

Thanks Ryan for making this happen!
I wouldn't mind trying the DP's but then again we already have points with the GT. Either way I wouldn't mind doing a few stints for Sebring if time permits.

Wouldn't worry about the incidents Ryan. Expect the rest of us would have racked up a few if we had pulled two 4 hour shift in the wee hours of the morning.

Sebring and March sounds good, in either car.

We can definitely stick to the GT3 for Sebring. No crime in consistency, I had actually forgotten this was part of the series.

Some of the incidents were dumb, and the hit detection for handing out 4x's for car contact are a little questionable (I got a 4x by being rear ended by psycho Dave Chv Taylor...).

Once we are closer to Sebring I will make a new thread here and on the Regulars list to start getting things together.

I do really want to thank everyone for coming out and making this run so smoothly. It was a great show of camaraderie and I enjoyed it immensely.

You're a trooper Ryan.

I drove 304 laps in the McLaren this past weekend between the Daytona 24 and Blancpain endurance series, but I never sat at the wheel for more than 3hrs straight. I can't imagine doing it for 8hrs nonstop.

FYI, these official endurance events are all standalone and not part of a series championship, so points/teams/classes are all inconsequential. These events are just for fun.

I didn't have to do 8 hours straight. I had two four hour stints separated by Trevor running between 1 and 3am.

For some reason I thought it was done the same way as the Road Warrior series of old. On that note, since they are all stand alone, so we can pick whatever car we want come March.

So March 12 is just over 2 weeks away. Are we putting a team in? Which car? I'd be up for a stint.
