When I tried to buy iRacing the other day it didn't let me because my PayPal account didn't have any credit cards added to it.. ??

..will find another way soon.

I'm interesting in picking this up, but I won't be getting a wheel anytime soon. Is anybody competitive with an X-box controller or similar? Can you even play it this way?

This particular deal is valid for existing active accounts only, but there are even better deals to be found for new accounts.

As for an X-box controller, yes it is supported. You can even race using a mouse or touch screen, but your driving experience may not be as enhanced as with a wheel and pedal set.

I've never tried anything other than a wheel myself, so I can't comment on it.
