I struggled hard with the braking during first practice and qually. I find that VIR has quirky brake zones that make it easy to upset or lock up. After finally finding a bias that seemed to work a little, I ended up sailing the car off track and got dq'd from qually for reckless driving. This wouldn't let me enter the first race. Is this an option we can turn off for future races? Seems a bit ridiculous to get dq'd in a private group for going off track and not be able to start. It is a game after all.

It must've thought you were driving in the opposite direction. Don't think we have any control over that, but will have a look at the server options.

Nothing in the server options to remove the reckless driving detection. Only server option we can set is to DQ a driver after a specified number in incidents.

However, the server admins can clear a DQ using admin commands. So next time you get a DQ get on chat to let us know and we should be able to clear it. Though our preference would be that you don't go sailing down the track in the wrong direction in the first place. :D

Lol that is exactly what happened. It was on the left hander heading down towards oak tree. I went off at s fairly good clip and just tried to ease it back to the left. About halfway across I get the warning of going the wrong way. I guess they thought I wanted to re enter on the back straight. Pretty rare situation I guess. Obviously not my intended route haha

It's been a few years, thanks for having me back! :beerchug:

I can't make next week, but I'm keen on doing Mosport the following week though...
(BTW does anybody have a good 911RSR setup they can send me to tinker with?)

Thanks
Stacy

Here you go a few to try. Files ending in KM are ones I've used and at least adjusted the fuel to run a 20 minute race. If you pick one and it says "to low" then bring the fuel down to 10 gal/40 L and it will likely pass tech.

Could also give this place a go, Stacy. Tanner M. makes some good setups. He also has a ton for other cars if you go up a level. If you follow any of the official series he should have sets for the right tracks.

I still don't know why the car kicked out like that off the curbing, I pretty much hit it the same as every other lap, or so I thought. Ah well, ruined a good race too! Got some good air though.

Race results for the last two week below. Congrats to Matt and Paul, and Paul and Matt on the wins.

Apologies for messing up both starts last night (Jay, Justin,...) . In unrelated news, if anyone finds an RSR setup that isn't evil on cold tires please let me know.

So...

Only two weeks left in this series. Whats next? I highly doubt we will be racing before late summer at this rate. Need to get the fix somewhere.

I think we should do a fixed setup series, too much emphasis on setups in the current series.
Thats just my opinion, maybe some like playing with setups, I don't do it, I just like to grab whatever and run it.

Skippy
911 Cup
Miata
Indycar?
F3?

Indycar might be fun, even include indy 500, and other ovals as part of the series (sorry Steve...)
