For the most part, participation in the ARMS iRacing League has been minimal, averaging about 6-7 competitors per race. It was suggested that we could simply join in with the Regulars iRacing league (of which many of us are members anyway) and enjoy the same comradery but with larger race fields.

For those who are not familiar with the Regulars, here is the league website: http://users.hfx.eastlink.ca/~mackaypenny/gplreg.html

Traditionally, The Regulars hosts two races each Tuesday night with qualifying for race 1 starting at 8:30 PM AST and qualifying for race 2 starting at 9:15 PM.

As a current member of the ARMS iRacing League, please cast your vote as to whether you’d like to switch over to the Regulars league, or continue with the ARMS iRacing league, albeit with much smaller fields.

I need to update that website.

Most of it still accurate, however running GT3 (RUF Track, Mclaren MP4, BMW Z4, Ford GT, and Cadilllac ) and Star Mazdas (not Radicals), and the schedule is on the iracing league page. http://members.iracing.com/membersite/member/LeagueView.do?league=177

Oh, and there is a GT3 version of the Ford GT being released with the season build, so will be using that instead of the old Ford GT (you get both versions if you have/buy the Ford GT.

Joining the Regulars seems to be the most reasonable solution, although I do miss the Friday night races because I don't have to work on Saturday. The best solution for me is to retire and then I can stay up as long as I like and race whenever I want.
Later...
Rick

Ken, am I reading your schedule correctly and that all the races from now until November are Star Mazda?

Correction: After closer inspection I see that the "League Sessions" shows the GT cars while the event calendar shows Star Mazda.

The Regulars run two series concurrently alternating each week. So tomorrow night is GT3 and next week is Star Mazda.

The calendars should match up on the iracing page because we only input the events once and it generates the monthly calendar (which is a bit useless), and the season and league event lists. What may be a bit confusing is that we have non-points "fun-run" on the US turkey eating holiday weekend (Nov 25) that isn't listed yet. Text version below just to make it easier.

Speaking of which we will likely add events on Dec 9 and 16th (either points or non-points) for those that don't have holiday parties to attend.

We'll setup the schedule for the new season starting in January once iracing releases their schedule.

09-Sep GT Virginia International Raceway - Full Course
16-Sep SM Autódromo José Carlos Pace - Grand Prix
23-Sep GT Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course - Full
30-Sep SM Circuit Gilles Villeneuve - Grand Prix
07-Oct GT Circuit Gilles Villeneuve - Grand Prix
14-Oct SM Watkins Glen International - Classic Boot
21-Oct GT Watkins Glen International - Classic Boot
28-Oct SM Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course - Full
04-Nov GT Road America - Full Course
11-Nov SM Road America - Full Course
18-Nov GT Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps - GP Pits
25-Nov TBA Thanksgiving fun run
02-Dec SM Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps - GP Pits
09-Dec TBA
16-Dec TBA

SM = Star Mazda (not Spec Miata)

The poll results are in and our members voted unanimously in favor of dissolving the ARMS league and joining forces with the "Regulars" league.

To join the Regulars league yourself, please visit:

http://members.iracing.com/membersite/m ... league=177

See you on the track Tuesday night!
