Red Flag procedure
-When the person rejoins the room the current time index & lap # will be taken.
-No passing is to occur and all cars are to proceed to the front straight but behind the start/finish line.
-In current order, cars will pass the start/finish line to see if any cars are 1 lap behind the leader or more.
-Car order and laps down will be noted for the restart.
-The car that dropped will be placed behind the last place car. (Call this mechanical difficulties).
-The time index or lap count taken will be used to calculate the remaining time/laps of the race.
-Laps maybe added to the remain laps to allow for the lead cars to "relap" the lapped cars.
-The race will be restarted, however the first lap(s) will be used to get the cars into proper order and laps down if needed.
-Once any lapped cars have been "relapped" the first place car will lead as a "pace car" for 1 lap. No cars may change positions until after crossing the start/finish when the race condition is again green.

Bluetooth Headsets Strongly Recommended!
I can't stress that enough! Any Bluetooth headset will work, just make sure to pair it with your PS3. Futureshop has a good selection as well.

Been a long LONG time, but I may have enough time to dust off the old wheel and join this one!
:EDIT: Looks like I'll miss the first race, as we're going out for a night/snow run on the local trails that night, but I'll try to make practice anyway!

Would love to shake the rust off but i'm sailing...damned shame. Using this week to catch up on all my missed F1 and help the wife with our new son. Maybe I can scrounge a copy of gt6 and hop in the new year.

I suspect many people will get GT6 on the release day and/or for Xmas.
We'll start a GT6 series up in the New Year once most people have obtained a copy.

Is the GT500 stealth model allowed? If so, I'm taking the Gt-R GT500 Stealth Model.
Or I might keep the yellowhat GT-R.

I'm going to try and get back into this...

Hopefully, Santa will bring me GT6 and 2013 F1...but I've been a bad boy this year.

sh!t.... do you have PlayStation+ (Plus) or have you ever saved it to a USB thumb drive?
Even an old copy from a thumb drive would be better than starting fresh.

If you (and Brian P.) want a car from the New Car Dealership (1 million CR or under) post here and I'll send you that car to help you get back on track.

Post subject:  Re: GT5 - Super December Touring Car Championship

I still have all my purchased cars I believe, so I'll have all the TC cars, I'll just work with those. I was at 98% complete too, just had the two 24 hour races and one other endurance race left until 100%. Oh well, I haven't played in such a long time, it may be actually fun to start over to get back into it...I do that all the time when a game gets stale, only usually on other accounts.

I'm hooked on iracing now. Maybe when GT6 comes out, but I just find iracing way more engaging.

Well, I do have my TC cars, so now I'm just going to have to bomb through the game making money for the next couple days to be able to get one set up right...or enough to build a RM car...not going to get to upset, I have the wife's OK for GT6

Post subject:  Re: GT5 - Super December Touring Car Championship

Good night of racing, lots of close battles.

I had pole position for London, but on the first lap out braked myself into the last turn and was passed by Aleks and Varga.
Managed to catch and pass Varga, but couldn't find a way around Aleks. Finished about a 1/2 second behind him.

Cheechoo (Rouselle) joined for the Nürburgring. I had pole however during the first lap I thought Cheechoo was right beside me going into a turn so I took a wide line, which allowed Aleks to pass me on the inside. I quickly corrected this error and passed him on the back straight. After that it was just keep them a nice distance 3-6 seconds behind me and manage my tires. My final laps were 4 seconds off my first laps but I held onto first. Cheechoo and Aleks were fighting hard for 2nd.

At Laguna Seca Cheechoo had pole by about 3ths over me. I took the inside on the first turn and the lead. However I went wide later on the first lap and dropped to 4th. Another spin (or three) and I was now 25 seconds behind. I decided to pit 1/2 way through the race to see what I could do. I came out of the pits 55 seconds behind the leader. 6-7 laps later I had cut that back down to 25 seconds. I was catching them quickly but running out of laps. Cheechoo had lead most of the race, but I heard on the radio he went too deep into the corkscrew and fell behind. I saw him ahead of me and was catching him at about 4 seconds a lap, however I ran out of laps and finished 2 seconds behind him.

I doubt it.... I'm "upgrading" my setup/seat and it's in 100 pieces right now.

But don't let that stop you from practicing.....

Sorry I couldn't make it Wednesday.... just not enough time in the day.
I'll try and get the points update before Sunday.

Long story short with that last lap move (bump) at Monza, it puts Alek way ahead in the points.
