I may not make it tonight.... Wedding anniversary is today, plus I'm in the midst of a computer build and don't have time to finish it in time.

Have fun!

There you go Scott, Ryan can do the anniversary thing while you fix the computer and race.

Hardware is all done. It's the software install / configuration that's taking forever.

At least putting together a computer would be easier than trying to fix these cars:

At least most of them remained shiney:

Looks like I missed a good one. :(

Nice action shots Stacy. FYI, if you hit the [space] bar, it'll remove the top / bottom boarders for a cleaner snap shot.

Nice video Rej. Joined less a week ago and you're already dabbling in video capturing. Took me a year. Ha ha.

I just wanted to subtly show that I messed up on the very last lap

Yes, was a good one. Had a good run with Ryan and Ed. Tried to close in on Rejean but he didn't seem to have any problems maintaining the gap. Brian W didn't seem to have any problems adjusting to the McLaren either. Put a few clips together.

Many thanks for the clips Ken, and thank you for getting my proudest moment, as requested

Looks like everyone has gravitated to the McLaren. It's interesting to note that the overall incident points seems to be down as well. Hmmmm.

Once again it was a night of the Brians, swapping positions on the top two podiums spots each race. Rejean made an impressive debut capturing the final podium spot on race #1, and Ryan got his first podium of the series on race #2!

After deductions were applied for incidents, here's what the series Points Standings look like:

    Image

The top eight remain unchanged. Rejean debuts in 8th while Stacy jumps up three spots to 10th. Shawn also moved up one spot to 11th.

Only two more weeks to go in this series with the next stop being Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

I tried both the McLaren and Cadillac on different tracks, and found similar speeds (almost negligible laptime differences) but the McLarens handled much MUCH better. Very forgiving to drive. The Cadillac was very twitchy and spinning out was extremely easy... the slightest touch of a curb or grass would send you flying.

Also, driving the Cadillac felt like looking out of a periscope  The McLaren has a way better windshield :)

Anybody else notice that Ryan and I only barely dropped a wheel at the end of the T3 apex rumble strip while attempting a pass, but it was enough to put us both into the guardrail?

That's a nasty little pothole :?

It has car magnets buried deep within the divot.

I found that piece of curbing or pothole, whichever it is, with the F1 car during a race once. Ended up in the same spot as Ryan and ended my race.

The funny thing is I had just about recovered from the small spin it had put me in. it isn't the pothole that's the killer, its the wall immediately after!
