Red Flag procedure
-When the person rejoins the room the current time index & lap # will be taken.

-In current order, cars will pass the start/finish line to see if any cars are 1 lap behind the leader or more.
-Car order and laps down will be noted for the restart.
-The car that dropped will be placed behind the last place car. (Call this mechanical difficulties).
-The time index or lap count taken will be used to calculate the remaining time/laps of the race.
-Laps maybe added to the remain laps to allow for the lead cars to "relap" the lapped cars.
-The race will be restarted, however the first lap(s) will be used to get the cars into proper order and laps down if needed.
-Once any lapped cars have been "relapped" the first place car will lead as a "pace car" for 1 lap. No cars may change positions until after crossing the start/finish when the race condition is again green.

Sweet, I like driving the little Beemer. Been quite a while though, I think the last time I had it out was when there was all that hype over the 1M release.

Can you change the racetracks? There are a lot of other racetracks in the game that are great, we don't have to pick always the same ones. Trial Mountain, Grand Valley, Autumn Ring, Dayton 200, Tsukuba, Special Stage Route, Eigen Norward

We already raced on Laguna and Suzuka, and we will race on Spa, and I hate Fuji Speedway what an awful waste of space that track is whoever design the last corner should be shot and then shot again.

Just to troll a little bit more, shouldn't it be Bavaria's Most Wanted? Berlin is 588 kilometers away from where these cars were manufactured.

I debated that.... however with the autobahn they easily got to Berlin in under 3hrs and started causing havoc! 8)

That I will agree with! As long as you don't say 'same difference'. Bavarians are a very proud people, and go to lengths to not consider themselves Germans

Sadly, I was just sent on a mission to annoy from the iRacing camp.

That said, if I had GT5, it looks like a fun series!

Post subject:  Re: GT5 - Berlin's Most Wanted

We need to run racing tires on this car. It's a bag of sh!t on sports.

Post subject:  Re: GT5 - Berlin's Most Wanted

I second that, this car needs racing tires. I played with the suspension settings but this car is just not nice to drive.

Post subject:  Re: GT5 - Berlin's Most Wanted

I did agree, but after spending a BUNCH of time tuning, I was able to get the car pretty decent. That being said, I would 100% support racing hards on this car for the series. No sense in burning out a bunch of people who want to race with us by running 2 rather difficult to tune cars in a row, running on race hards would give a bit back to the driver and some away from set-up.

Post subject:  Re: GT5 - Berlin's Most Wanted

Sounds like a few people maybe late.
We will start tonight at 8:30

I'm re-evaluating the tires right now to see if RACING HARD are required or if SPORTS SOFT will do.
