Great photos Alek!

Laguna went well for me. I had a good start and quickly found myself in 3rd place. After the first few laps it was clear I didn't have the pace to challenge cheechoo and Alek, but I was well ahead of 4th place, so I decided to gamble and try win the race without doing a pitstop. cheechoo and Alek were just too quick on their fresh rubber and passed me with a couple of laps left. In the end I finished 15 seconds behind the leader, without doing a pitstop.

Deep Forest is another story. Couldn't find any grip and hit the wall not once or twice, but 3 times. I was lucky to limp away with 4th place. I did manage to find some pace at the end, but Rob was still 16 seconds ahead of me in 3rd as I crossed the finish line.

EDIT: The plans for "Bullrun" have changed. Please see the link below for full info.

Haha,

Leguna was a great race, had lots of fun with the back and forth with Rob. However, Deep forest was awful, during free practice i had no issues, and then as soon as the race started i couldn't control the car at all....so it was a fairly abysmal race. Also thanks to Rob for putting me on the scent of "the killer years", watched it last night and wow, what a good doc. Thanks.

Yeah, when it came to deep forest, I was turning 1:20's and 1:19's, but I was only getting 4-6 laps and then wrecking, I'd hit the same lines, but 2-3 times the my wheel came right off the table I was using when the feed back would hit strong, other times I'd grab the throttle a second to early. I was pretty frustrated to say the least.

Just another night of racing though, I'll shake it off and get back at'er!! As soon as I can get a better setup for the wheel that is. I'm going to try racing with the feedback off later and see if that helps...

I still don't have a wheel desk setup, so I'll be missing tonights events, but I may stop in to watch later on.

Didn't even make it for commentary...young fella decided to have a bit of a time! On a better note, I'm going to start the build of my seat setup this week, so I'm hoping to be back at it soon.

Results from tonight???
