The Regulars will be starting a new season on Jul 31. If anyone is interested just send me a PM. Both experienced and new drivers welcome. The previous seasons were a great success and a lot of fun.

For the August – October 2012 season we are going to run 2 separate series alternating weeks on Tuesday nights. Series 1 will use the Star Mazda cars, Series 2 will use the Cadillac CTS's. Two races will be run each Tuesday nigh with qualifying for race 1 starting at 7:30 PM E.D.T and qualifying for race 2 starting at 8:15 PM.

I'm up for the Star Mazda series. Adding it to my calendar now so I don't forget again.

It'll be interesting to try out the new league functionality.

We're going to try the league functions in iracing. Look for "Regulars" in the league list). Note races won't be under the HOSTED menu, but should appear in the "league sessions" list once you join (only have this Tuesday's races in their now).

Correction:. Looks like with the website updates in the last 24 hrs that LEAGUE EVENTS ARE IN THE HOSTED LIST. Edit [ Nope, fooled again. The session shows under league sessions once it gets near the time of the session.] You will still need to join the Regulars league in iracing in order to get on the server.

If things are messed up we may go back to the old way of hosting so keep an eye on the hosted section for the normal servers/password. Would be a good night to show up early as suspect there will be a few things to iron out.

We may throw up a league practice event before the race tonight just to make sure things are working ok.

That was fun! Great group of sim racers. 18 people for race #1 and 17 people for race #2; more than I expected!

Everyone drove clean and respectful. For example, during qualifying if a person messed up their hot lap, they'd pull aside as to not impact the person immediately behind them. This was great to see as the track was jam packed.

A good mix of fast and not-so-fast drivers as well, so you're bound to find someone at your speed / skill level to battle with.

I'll definitely be joining the "Regulars" Star Mazda series going forward. Hope to see some more ARMS members join in the future.

Yeah, that was a fun start to the season. Especially enjoyed swapping places with you Scott in the second heat. Would like to see a few more ARMS members join in as well.

BTW if any of you are going to be at the lapping day this Monday and want to say "hi" look for the guy wearing a green Keji cap and driving a little black Hyundai.

PS I won't mention that Scott scored more points because he had fewer incident penalty points.

Road America really isn't my track, so I definitely had some badness. there was a 4x car contact penalty I wasn't too sure of, I might have tapped someones wheel trying to avoid rear ending them...but hey, the digital stewards have the last say

Yes, great result for your first race Ryan. I was trying to catch you in the closing laps, but I spun and lost 15 seconds in one lap.

Looking forward to Mid-Ohio. Ed's car may be wearing Danger Paint come the next race.
