Who all is gonna join in an represent Eastern Canada?

The first of three qualifying rounds is Saturday, July 14. There are three time slots as well: 6am, 2pm, and 8pm.

On the road side, we're running the Cadillac CTS-V at Mosport. Should be lots of fun!

I might, supposed to be heading to Loudon to see the nascar race that weekend but my friend is having passport issues and we might not be able to make it, so if we don't make it then I'll do it for sure

Well, we (Eastern Canada) didn't make the cut this round, but we were close; placing 11th out of 37 clubs. Only the top 7 clubs advance from this round, but we're well positioned to advance in the next round.

I personally ran two road qualifiers, but only had mediocre results. I finished midfield and -9 laps down in both races after receiving damage and having to stop for repairs. I only managed 26 out of a possible 40 points.

Looks like Shawn didn't have much luck neither:

The WC Qualifying Round Two will be October 20th, where I'm confident Eastern Canada will advance. Then the World Cup Tournament is on January 12th, from which the top four clubs advance to the World Cup Finals on January 19th.

Round 2 of World Cup Qualifying is Oct 20.

This time it'll be the Chevrolet Silverado trucks @ Las Vegas Motor Speedway and the Dallara IndyCar @ Suzuka Circuit.

Looks like I'll have to dust off the IndyCar for this. Anyone else going to join in and help qualify Eastern Canada for the World Cup Finals? Last round we were short on numbers on the road side. :(

I'll give it a go, I LOVE the trucks

I haven't really played much with the Indy car though

Assuming I'm around, I'll take the Indy to Suzuka!

Oh my, what a dismal showing for Eastern Canada. We only had two EC club members participate, when the scoring is based on the club's top ten! As a result, we only finished 28th out of 35 clubs, and came nowhere near making the cut the the World Cup Tournament. :(

At least it was an ARMS member who was one of the two who participated. I would have joined in as well if I hadn't been away for the weekend:

The third and final qualifying round will be Jan 5th. Hopefully the club will pull together and grab one of the last seven spots available for the World Cup Tournament.

I was going to run both the oval and road this past weekend but everytime I clicked on it to race no race times came up for me. Maybe it's because I didn't run the first round it wouldn't let me run the second round, I don't know.

You should be able to run in the second round even if you didn't run the first. However, if you miss qualifying they won't let you enter. I just had a weekend from hell so I wasn't able to dive in and make a contribution.

Not sure if you were aware, but it was a hosted race so it would've only shown up in the HOSTED section, not the official RACE section.

That may explain why I couldn't enter either of the races, crap.
