Thursday night fun nights.

Any style (used or new) 2 or 4 door sedan race car. 600PP. If it's too high or too low, we can adjust. But for the first night we'll leave it at 600PP.

2 races a night of 25 laps each. 1 short track, then a long one.

This should be interesting to see what people bring.

Merlin's lounge 8pm practice, 8:15 start.

First night 17 May- Grand Valley East and Grand Valley

24 May - Suzuka East and Suzuka

I finished 1 out of 2. Just myself and Jason B. We only did a 10 lap race of Grand Valley. It was fun. Jason tried a bunch of different cars, and settled on the ISF Lexus race car. I was driving the BMW M3 GTR race car. After I left the lounge I realized I should have saved the replay to get some pictures. The race was fairly even, until Jason spun out.

Sorry...I missed out on that...ended up chasing a lead on a item and it took me too long to find it.

Next Thursday...it is, then!

Edit..." did I mention the item I was chasing was in a game called Diablo 3...ooops!"

Post subject:  Re: GT5-Sedan Racing

As of right now I can't see any reason that would prevent me from being there.

I was in the lounge until about 8:30. Then went and did some seasonal races. Maybe this Thursday it will be working.

So we had 2 races last night with Alek, Trevor and myself. Alek won the 1st race, at Deepforest, using his new NSX. Trevor came 2nd with his Camaro, I finished 3rd in my BMW M3 GTR. I spun out on the first lap and couldn't catch up.

The second race was much better, we switched cars and we were all driving DTM cars at Trial Mountain. Very close racing from 3 different cars. I had the '00 CLK TC, Trevor was in the '02 Audi TT TC, and Alek had a '94 Opel TC. For the first time ever I won. My car was better on tires and was able to pull off the win, plus I did not crash, spin or bump anything. I need to do that more often.

Congratulations on the win Harrod!

Awesome photos, the cars look great!
I'm glad the racing is so close, I may have to jump in next week or whenever.

Hey...that looked like fun!

Sorry I had to leave...the RX 7 was feeling good...ran into some simple technical issues followed closely by some toilet training issues...

I will get it all cleared up for next Thursday.

So is anyone still getting online Thursdays? or any day of the week? It's been a long time since I last turned on GT5, and was thinking about racing tomorrow night if anyone's gonna be there...
