If you guys haven't heard about this sim yet, it's shaping up nicely. They have a unique strategy for the development, allowing members to pay a small fee to download it and have a say in the way it turns out. When the retail version comes out, these members get a discount. There are various packages at different price points available giving you different levels of participation including adding content if you are a programmer. They release new builds at least weekly and you can watch the sim progress as they work on it. I've seen a huge jump in progress in the couple of months I've been testing it. After using iRacing pretty much since the beginning, I was turned off towards it by the slow addition of content but mostly the release of the new tire model. The physics of Project C.A.R.S. has a much better feel to me and the graphics and sound blow iRacing away. It is yet to be seen how the actual racing will be when it is released.
