Yeah....what he said.

I've just got to move up to a wheel! Not gonna start by spending that kinda coin, I can get parts for the real car for that price!!

I hear you on the cost thing but...due to a persistent medical condition, this is as close to real racing as I will get for a while...so I ordered the set up complete with the new shifter...now the waiting starts.

Just working out the details on the triple monitors...and I should be good to go...so what if its only in my mind. :P

Well the system arrived at my door this morning...thank you PC-Canada...a day ahead of schedule!! :D

The first thing you notice is the weight then the quality of the build and finally the notification attached to the wheel saying" not to have your hands anywhere near the wheel when the system starts up "

WOW...is this system nice!

The new shifter is amazing...full size shifter head and all metal and it snicks into each gear like a fine tuned Honda!

The sad part is this system don't fit my new playseat very well...never fails! 8O

It maybe time to fabricate a proper cockpit to take all this stuff.

Well...after countless trys and reloading and Firmware up dates, thrustmaster has finally said they want the shifter back.

I have had nothing but problems with it...actually I never got it working from day one...bummer!

It's a wonderful piece of kit...if it worked!

Just have to wait for it's return and the I can get back to practising my driving technique...can't wait! :)

That sucks about the shifter, but at least they are going to do something to fix it instead of sticking you with it. Other than the shifter, does the wheel live up to the hype?

Hmmm...how does one say this....YES!!!

I have used all the lower end wheels and both the Logitech's G25 & G27 and this wheel and pedal set is far better. Of course there is a premium price to pay but the build quality and actual function is much better.

That being said...every time I race online I get beat by people using nothing but the included game pad...oh well! :P you know who you are!

It's personal preference to me...I enjoy the gaming much more with this set up and hopefully in the near future I will get as good as the equipment I am using.

I hope this happens before I get bored with it !!! 8O

...AMAZING...great use of the imagination to construct such a toy to house a toy!!! 8)

The mere fact that he did it "WHILE" the wife/GF was in the house is a tribute to his focus and concentration.

I am not worthy...to know of these deeds performed by such as this man... 8O

Ha ha! That's cool.

I have often thought about ripping the interior out of a parts car to make a sim rig. Just need the space (for the rig & parts car both).
