http://kotaku.com/5881535/this-magic-bo ... nd-so-easy Basically instead of a wireless setup, you can use these devices to turn your power plugs/outlets into a network connection. These type of things have been around for a while, but it looks like they finally work well now! |

My father's been using one of these to bridge his basement and upstairs for a while now. Seems to work quite well if you only have limited points you need to push access to. Its about $50-60/plug. |

I've got a set that I'd sell for $50 if someone wants them For a few months I used them to stream movies from my server to my TV, but a couple weekends ago I ran Cat6 through my house so I don't need them anymore It's this: http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-F5D4081-Vi ... =amaz98-20 There are 2 units in the kit - one unit has 1 port and goes next to your router/switch, the other unit has 3 ports and goes wherever you would like 3 ethernet jacks |
