Hi Jon, you can't adjust anything for the Mazda Cup Series, it is a "fixed" series. If you use that car in other races like the D License MC Challange then you can make adjustments.

I'm having a bear of a problem controlling the MX5, but I don't have a whole lot of guage for momentum in the car. Plus the defauly G27 settings seem to be 180 degrees lock to lock which is pretty extreme. Need to do some tweaking.

It takes time. Just do lots of practice sessions, and eventually it'll just "click". It also helps to try different cars. Now when I switch from the Skip Barber to the MX-5, it's like child's play. lol

Gord, make sure in your game controllers dialog box under control panel, the wheel is set to 900deg. Then go into iRacing and set it to 900 as well when you enter an event. i had the same problem when i first started and that small tweak in game controller made all the difference.

On another note, Scott said it best, take your time and get a feel for the car. Don't expect to know the track or the car in just a few laps, be smooth, start out slow and safe and your speed will come!

Yeah, I've only done a couple of sessions, its mostly just trying to get a feel for things. I'm hampered as well by the fact that I'm not used to shifting in games so I have to adapt to that as well. So many things to take into account that I don't have my usual inputs for. I was doing much better when I picked a flatter course I could see (The Charlotte infield Road course) vs Laguna Seca where every freaking turn would be a rally style "Double Caution crest into blind downhill 3 left'.

Heeey, thats what I need! A Co-driver! :)

Can you not adjust Tire Pressures?

And... What is a good Lap time at Laguna Seca for the cup car?
