Just doing some house cleaning of threads here....

The photoshoot night will be a A RUN-WHAT-YOU-OWN night. Buy the car in the game that's closest to the car you drive IN REAL LIFE and paint/mod it like your real life car. Then we'd do some purely fun races, record them, and then post the pictures after.

The purpose will not be to actually race against each other, but just to have fun and snap some cool photos!

The idea would not be to race so much as a photoshoot.
IE
-McIntyre would grab a red Talon
-Joel would be in a green Civic of his car's year/model
-Since there are no E36's Paul would grab a white E46 M3
-Varga in a silver E46
-Kevin in a red Focus
-yourself in a blue Mustang
-Trevor in a green Mustang (I know you don't own it, but you drive it like you stole it)
-etc etc

As there're no rusty FB RX-7s, I'll have to get either an FC or one of the Cosmos. Or Maybe an FD, since I hate the FCs.

I could run around in my IROC Z as I used to have a third gen Z28 not long ago. Closest Mustang in design in the game would be the Cobra R I'm guessing, I don't think they have anything closer to the fox body.

Can I run the 320I touring car? It's the closest to mine!! I have an E46 M3 I can run as well.

The goal is to create the car so it looks as close to yours as possible.
So for Varga and Harrod it would be the E46 M3.

Yea Jay for the for IROC or the Cobra... either would be excellent.

I will be in the white/blue FGT and yes I'll weigh it down with 200kg and set it to 50% and will probably still be the fastest, but this isn't really a race, it's a photoshoot.

Cheers,

Hmm, pretty sure there is a Tornado red mk4 Golf so either that or a Cosmos Black E46 M3. I wish they had an E36 in the game, I think Forza does.

...not bad at all Scott...just remember to FOCUS the camera on the portion of the car you would like to show off and then adjust the aperture to allow the depth of field to focus the rest of the car.

Remember....you can move the camera to find a focal point and then reposition the camera to see the shot better.

This is a camera simulator as well...just keep trying new things !!

I have both but I will be using the standard '04 e46 m3 silver,

with 333hp, 1570kg, with comfort soft tires...that is 468pp

No mods whatsoever...still fun to drive....has the OEM wheels and looks just like my winter setup without the splitter.....

....Santa brought me an up grade for my playseat...a shifter mount...so now I get to use the real shifter and clutch assembly.

Sure would like to upgrade the pedal set to load cell's and dampers for the brake and clutch....thats what I dislike most of all...not having any "feel" in the brake pedal.

Thrustmaster just came out with a great shifter assembly....7 speeds + reverse !!

Does anyone have the 2000 Honda Accord Euro-R '00 and is willing to send it to me? It looks like that is the only car that I don't have in the game.

I think it would be fun to have a stock race and then a modified one.

The IROC-Z may be a closer thing to reality for me in the next little while, I may be trading the Mustang out for one...we'll see! Looking forward to running online again, a good mental break is called for after the holidays!!
