Maybe a single 1-hour race each night with a hard start time? Have an optional 30 minute practice session beforehand? That would cut down on race-time-creep.

I think we all need to make a road trip to NB and perform a little intervention for your sake.

Kinda like one of those "Welcome to the Wiserhood commercials" We'll all wear our best tweed and turtle necks while sipping on fine Whiskey, and give you a gentle golf clap while you let the "boss" know you'll be playing some online video games with your adult friends

I'm up for whatever, although I do prefer fast and racy vs slow and street like.

We've always done typically 90mins per night. When we have longer races we normally have less races per night. When we have more races they are normally shorter "sprint" type races.

We've always typically started around 8:15 and have normally finished before 9:30pm.

We've only started letting the start time fall back to 8:30ish on the hopes that more are joining because of the low numbers, and even then we finish before 10pm.

If we need to move the start time to 7pm or 7:30 so that we can get a solid 90mins of gaming I'm ok with that (but I thought we moved it from 7 to 8 so that most people could have dinner, put the kids to bed, get settled and join in). We lost our player from Germany because of the 8pm start time, it was just too late for him (+5hrs).

8pm start time works best for me. Kid to bed thing.

We should start the Lemans race after the Easter weekend. I say this because my "boss" made plans for us Thursday night, forgetting that I had racing. On that note, I won't be there This Thursday.

Ok so what's on the docket for tonight....

-Shuffle Races
-Performance Point Races
-Spec Races (old Spec M3, Elise, NSX, Miata, etc)

I'm open to suggestions.... and I agree with Steve, I'd like something fast.

What touring cars are in the new car dealership?

I'm leaning towards our old Spec M3s...... or 500~600pp with Racing Hard tires.

At first I thought the reboot of my router and modem fixed it because I was able to watch Netflix, however just tried to sign into the PSN and got the above error code.

Maybe no gaming tonight :(

I thought I'd been signed in, but I guess I'm not. Apparantly the servers went down for maintenance.

It doesn't look good for the PSN tonight.

I'm thinking about doing the Suzuka 1000km or the 4hrs Nürburgring tonight.
I'm hoping to do the 9hrs of Tsukuba on Saturday or Monday.

If anyone is interested in helping out please let me know.

As of this post the PSN is still down.

Varga and I are doing the Suzuka 1000km tonight.
No live blogging sorry.

But anyone is welcome to come over and run it with us.
We're going to use the Red Bull X2010 so victory is assured 8)

The trick is to turn the FFB down to 1 (which is the lowest setting).
We have completed 137 of 172 laps, 3hrs 28mins on the clock right now.

Looks like they are labeling it as another attack against the Sony Playstation Network....

I won't be there Sunday night. I have to work. It's a 24hr duty watch on the ship. I have to do it about once every 20 days.

Doesn't look like the PSN will be online tomorrow night anyways.

I'm game for some 4hrs of Nürburgring @ my place tomorrow night.
... and I'm planning to do the 9hrs of Tsukuba on Monday for those that are interested.

Besides missing a few golds (Vettel, FGT Championship & a few licenses) I'm 99% done the offline game. The only two offline events I have left are the 9hrs of Tsukuba and 24hrs of Nürburgring.

I can't wait for the PSN to get back online.....
Latest update is there is still no ETA

The good news:
The Playstation Network should be back online in a day or two

The bad news:
It maybe more than a week before all services are restored to the PSN.

The really bad news:
A hacker has stolen an unknown amount of personal account information, possibly even credit cards.

Varga and I did another 4hrs of Nürburgring last night.
Only have to run it 6 more times. :?
