This was a fun race.

The start of the race was miserable, qualified first, started the race in second last place. Then I was making my way through traffic and people crashing left and right, I was trying very hard to catch up with Jason in the other Toyota. During the first lap just before the banking, either Jason B. lost control or I tried to pass him and it didn't work (I can't remember) and I spun and the other Jason was gone, lost 15s. Then I spent the next few laps catching up, but the people in the front were able to draft each other and I wasn't. I lost another 10 seconds there. My first pit stop I filled up with full gas which caused me another 10seconds in the pits, it wasn't until the other pit stops that I realized that you can put in 16 liters while the tires are changed without any delay. I ended up finishing the race with 10 or 15 liters left in the tank.

After the first 12 laps it was a very nice race. Ran medium tires and pitted after 11 laps. I was running 38s and 39s and sometimes 37s. During the middle of the race Steve somehow cought up out of the blue and then crashed, which was great for me. During the race I didn't talk much, but I always listen to who has crashed or who is where, I thought that Steve was crashing all over the place and then all of a sudden he was behind me for a while.

During the last few laps I was ready to un-lap myself at the bus stop where Robert just barely touched me and caused damage to my car, I was so close to passing Jason. So I changed to softs during the last couple of laps and put in a 1:35.69. I also crashed twice during the race which didn't help. I was running the same time as the other Toyota but the little things caused me a lot of time and the two mistakes.

It was an eventful endurance race like it should be, but also a lot of fun.

I didn't lose control or wreck until at least the 5-6th lap at the bus stop, so it wasn't me!!! I do believe I drifted a bit in that turn though now that I think about it, but I didn't go around, just let off and went slow until I was on the banking and in forth before I hit it again, didn't want to damage it and have to pit on the first lap.

I'd be up for an endurance race a month!

That was me, and the drive to PEI would probably kill the deal, haha. That being said, during a pit stop, I got up, ran to the patio door and left it open enough for the dog to get through until the next pit stop when I got up to close it again. Sure, having the patio door open 8-10" (small dog) for a half an hour in -15* made the house a bit cold, but you have to have a few sacrifices to be a racer, :orglaugh:

I did crash quite a bit. I was really good through the first 20 laps and then I fell apart. I was crashing about every 5 laps after that.

I did manage a bathroom break on one pitstop. I kept my headset on and had to cut it short as I heard my car on autopilot coming down pitlane

I crashed within the first couple of laps, and then did a drive through of the pits. I thought that would be fun(note sarcasm here). I tried softs to catch up, but ate them up to quick. Blanchard and I swapped places a few times between pit stops and on the track. He was able to keep it together to stay ahead of me. It was fun, I would do it again. I just need to spend more time picking a car and practicing.

I'm thinking one 2hr enduro per month would be fun.
Any suggestions for the next one? LMP cars? SuperGT? NASCAR?

DTM at Nurburgring (GP track not the Nordschleife) sounds like a winner. Or Spa would be fun too.

Good idea's Harrod and Steve!
DTM @ the Nürburgring does sound fun :)

Let me do some testing this weekend to find out a PP value that most DTM cars can hit and I'll post the sup regs up sometime next week.

Would it be more or less competitive if you found the high PP that they can achieve t and then made the max say 80% of that value?

I'd like to see a DTM race as well, and heres another suggestion, hows about doing an endurance race at the end of the American Muscle series? We'd all be very sorted in our cars by then and the racing should be very equal. To me that sounds like a good way to finish off a close series. Maybe give the points more value in the endurance race, or have no points for the endurance and race for pride or prizes!

I like that idea. It gives the people that don't practice as much as others do, to sort their cars out. End every series with an endurance race. Doesn't always have to be 2 hrs, could be shorter.
