We ran Monaco & Suzuka last time (not saying we can't again), and not everyone has the new DLC pack.

I'll be there. Are we starting at 8? I would like to do the Charger as well. But if we can't then something race modded, no street cars.

Awesome racing last night guys!
Varga, less than a second between us for over 10mins at Laguna Seca... unreal, clean racing!

For the ultra lazy like myself, downloading is even better than the dvr, i don't even have to fast forward past commercials

So the karting track I did not enjoy. But I think looking back at it, there was unlimited mods so I'm sure racing softs would have helped me. I was a solid 4-5 seconds off the pace I think.

Grand Valley was fun, after getting through the early carnage, I just didn't have enough laps left to catch you Jason. I had a hockey game at 1045 so I had to leave and miss Laguna.

The 350 is super fun to drive though, has just enough power and just loose enough to hang the tail out at times.

I though the kart track was kinda fun, really forced disipline as it was so slippery. I used the car I always do, racing hard tires, in fact, I never change setup for any track, never have. I find I usually make it worse, so I find a setup that works and just deal with it. Some tracks I am slow, some, not too bad.
I am not a big fan of the 350, not sure why.

I like the Miata TC, would be a fun series car. I really think we should be locking setups in, no changes, just makes it more even for everyone.
Take the default car, and run.
Charger TC is fun too.

A nascar series would be fun too, how many ovals are there, just Daytona? Do a mix if road/oval, those cars are animals.
Run soft tires and make the races long enough that you have to pit to change them.

In referance to the DVR and all that, it's a long story that I am not going to type about.

I like the 350. How ever, I think when we are just doing fun nights, we should change up the cars.

For those peolpe that do not have the DLC, you should get it. $12 is not a whole lot of money. Trust me, as someone who has around $300 worth of DLC for another game, I didn't think the $12 was a lot of money.

Looking forward to an actual series. Jason did you get the picture of you, Varga and myself in the air at Cape Ring?

I'd be interested in getting involved in a spec series, I don't have the new pack yet though. I read about the last spec series and it sounded awesome!

I believe I ran the 350Z with racing hards on the karting track.
It's easy to verify because I saved the replay and we can go back and see who drove on what.

I really love the 350Z... for a number of reasons. Like Steve said, it's really easy to hang out the tail end when you want to.

I really don't like the idea of locking down the cars, suspension setup and transmission settings should always be able to be changed.

I'm thinking a Spec Miata series starting next Thursday.
(I'm at the AGM right now)

If we aren't running the 350Z Sunday, any suggestions?
(although I really do enjoy the 350Z)
Any suggestions for tracks?

To me, car setup is part of racing. I prefer to leave it open. That way people can adjust the car to suit their driving style.

A spec car is likely all the equalizer we need.

Blanchard: Not all of us have the new pack, so I doubt we'll use any of the cars from it unless everyone involved decides to purchase it. That or have a touring car series where eligible makes / models can be chosen from either the new pack or original content. That could be fun.

It would probably be a real "piss up" if we just randomly get cars assigned to us to drive at an event.
I have played this online a few times ands its a handful...there is a car generator that decides what car you will get and then off you go to start the race...just something different.

I'm in for whatever gets the game going..."SAMBA" bus no mods !!

Paul...it looked like you had Soft tires when you passed me and turned in to a corner like it was pavement...probably more car control and weight transfer then I can achieve so I assumed the soft tires.

McIntyre tried to take me out, but it backfired.
