I plan to send a Email out this weekend to just give a basic update to all racers, I can included that there is a Local IRacing league.

I think that would be a great opportunity to promote the iRacing League.

Ken: you are 'the Regulars' League moderator...is this okay with you? Anything to add?

I'm sure I can poke Scott so we can do something about the ARMS league on iRacing and get it in the hands of whomever would want to use it!

I will ping him and see what we can set up.

The ARMS league still exists if you guys want to use it. I can make anyone an Admin, which would allow you to create new Seasons, Races, etc.

We could use it, but it would just result in the same outcome as any other time you splinter a small region like ours. All it does is weaken the pool of people to draw from. So we'd end up using ARMS and have 4-5 racers, and the other guys would stay at the Regulars and they'd have 4 or 5 racers. Better to just stick with Regulars IMO and have 10 racers.

I'm ok with using the Regulars. There are only a few in the league outside of ARMS and they are well behaved (well, at least as well behaved as the ARMS members  ). As Steve mentioned, better to have a few more drivers than to split things up.

Catching up on Race results. Congrats to Ryan and Paul at Charlotte with the Caddy, it was a tough car/track combo.

So Mosport next week in the Caddy. Then what? How about F3 at LRP, Okayama long, and Tsukuba 2000?

Deiced to do skippys after the Caddy at Mosport this week. So Skippys at Tsukuba 2000, LRP, and Okayama, unless there are strong objections.

Congrats to Trevor and Kevin on the wins last night. Great to have a big field like that. Thanks Stacy for putting the word out to MSCC. A big field like that in the skippys should be a blast.

For those not on the Regulars Discord channel, Art is organizing a short season on Iracing:

Quote:
I forgot how much fun the Formula Mazdas are, everybody had a good time at LRP last night so how about a short season of short tracks in this short little car?

Nov 10 Brands Indy
Nov 17 Road Atlanta Short
Nov 24 Oulton Park Fosters
Dec 1 Suzuka East
Dec 8 VIR North
Dec 15 Silverstone 2008 National

I might be away for a couple of those events (not sure which yet).

Not really. Summer is usually quiet anyway but nothing has started up from the regulars group this fall that I know of. I've spent the past couple months moving and doing renos, and just got my machine back set up. Race Sim Canada is relatively active but not sure what the future of the Regulars is.

Thanks, I'll have a look into that. Just got back into simracing after almost a 10 year Hiatus, and got myself a decent setup. But most leagues I've found so far kinda of run too late at night for my taste.
