Came across this data where they (Mazda/NASA/SCCA Spec Miata Group) add bits to a 1.6 engine and dyno it between each run. Very interesting to see where the gains are made and how it compares to a pro built 1999. Also wondering if the extra blending (3mm debur - config 6) is similar to what was found on the the illegal heads.

PS that 0.200" milling should be 0.020"

Very interesting set of data Ken. Thanks for locating and sharing it. Now I know for sure where my car Hp/tq dyno numbers are relative to these objective data.
