2015 TTSMC Information

Another Fantastic Road Racing Season is upon us! In about three weeks, the Toyo Tires Spec Miata Championship is about to get underway for our 5th season. How about that?

2015 Competitors - house-keeping items;

This year prior to each event, each competitor in the TTSMC Series will require to have their car pass tech (similar to the GT Series) using ARMS' tech scrutineers. We also will have our own SM legality tech inspector. Reg Grant will be the SM Series inspector. He will randomly inspect our SM competitors' cars at will throughout the race weekend. Any items deemed illegal will be dealt with by the ARMS officials.

Also this year, the TTSMC will include our own SM Series Steward (to be announced). This SM Steward will determine the fairness of on-track activities by all competitors and assess any penalties as required.

We hope that the 2015 TTSMC will be better than ever and are looking forward to getting the season underway.

2015 TTSMC Mandatory & Contingency Items;

MANDATORY ITEMS;

Series Registration;
ALL COMPETITORS who wish to compete in the TTSMC MUST complete our Series Registration Form and sign our Waiver. You will NOT enter the SM Series without doing this. To date, we only have 3 Registered competitors. If you don't have the form simply email me and I will get you a copy. You can simply take a photo of your completed form and email back to me or scan it, etc.

Decal Placement; All competitors require Series mandatory decals placed on the race car in the appropriate locations. Your first set of decals are free. Contact me for decals.

Spec Miata Championship Drivers Association Contingency Program;
- car owner receives $50 per race weekend (payable at Annual ARMS AGM)

- $100 per competitor (up to 10th place - payable at Annual ARMS AGM)

Toyo Tires Contingency Program;
- Championship Payout 1st Place - 4 R888 Tires

- $1,200.00 in coupons and 4 tires for the season (payable at Annual ARMS AGM)
