Hi All, I need a trailer tow from home (182 Teviot Place, Valley B6L 4K8) to and from AMP for Sunday July 13 SM races. Truck I usually borrow from my best friend is in body shop. I'll beg, borrow, or rent (but not steel) a truck if you know of one available. Or someone with a truck that can tow me to and fro. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Added to Post after receiving a PM question: My trailer is permitted for 4499 kg (7,500 lb). It is a 24' enclosed car hauler. I usually tow it with a Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with a 4.8L V-8 engine. My SM weighs 2148 lb without me in it. Plus a couple hundred lbs of tools and other stuff. Tows easy for a 24' hauler.

Added to Post after another PM suggestion: If possible I'd like to attend the regional Time Attack event on Saturday as well...which would mean haul to track on Saturday morning and home after racing on Sunday. Leave trailer at AMP overnight Saturday. But Sunday will do..beggers can't be choosers! I've had a couple PM replies with good leads. I just go rent a truck (1/2 ton), but Budget in Truro does not rent trucks for hauling trailers due to insurance purposes. Sucks not having my own truck!!!!!

Just a thought. Not to put him on the spot but I think Paul Macdonell has done something in the past for a fee. Worth a try. Where exactly are you? Truro?

Yeah I see but is that Annapolis valley or silicon valley. General area I mean. So I have an idea how long the trip would be.

Brian, Valley is a a "burb" of Truro/Bible Hill.
Easiest access is to take the 102 to the 104 (toward Cape Breton) and take the first exit.

Brian B. As Aaron says it is a suburb of Truro/Bible Hill. It takes 45 - 50 min to get from my house to the Airport. you can likely judge time from there. To AMP and back is 35 min each way.

Sounds as if you have things taken care of. I could bring the car to the track Sunday morning after picking it up on Sat. Night. No good for you if you want to do time attack on Sat. If things don't work out I can get you there Sun.

OK Brian B. You'll be my back-up plan B. Thanks for your offer, I appreciate it. I look forward to duelling with you on Sunday. Had so much fun with you during May races!

A HUGE thank you to Brian Partridge for "driving the extra miles" to tow my race trailer to and from AMP for the weekend of fantastic Time Attack events and Racing Events. My appreciation is immeasurable!!!!
