Very very cool! Guess Blu made it back through the weather wilds of Moncton, eh?

Who's the drivers of said roadsters?

That is awesome news. You guys are a blast to watch (although a bit hard on the heart with all the drifting and spins in 11... 8O ).

When do we get to find out who the new members are?

Todd Roberts in one car. We have a rental car for "somebody" and another 97 that will be forsale in the future. Depending on the demand, we may go down for more.

BTW, Blu had it easy. We got caught in 12-16" of snow in NY coming back from PA. 2 million without power. No power anywhere to pump gas. Motels were all full and spent several hours stopped on the 84. Spend Sat night in a 1/2 star rat motel without power & heat in some place called Fishkill, NY. Decided to pull out of there at 3:30am. Had to bypass Connecticut because of the weather. Got home 3:30am this morning. Yeah, Blu had it easy...

For the record... it wasn't easy or simple. Waiting for you to arrive ( and you never did) standing in a garage with no heat for 6 hours then setting off in a snow storm with 2 cars in tow and not a snowplow in sight wasn't my ideal of entertainment Although our hotel suite did have heat and power, didn't see any rats either, lol.
I had an extra 11 hours driving time added to my trip, not to mention the Fredericton to Moncton highway closed for hours last night while we waited for plows to arrive and the wreckers to move the accident ahead.

All worth it though.... the Spec Miata Championship will be HUGE in 2012 with the car count climbing. Heck we just double the car count this weekend

Congrats Steve and welcome to the club. You wont regret it. I really think 9 or 10 entries for 2012 is not unrealistic.

When we first contacted Mazda Canada about this series, they were not interested. They are interested now! Stay tuned for an announcement over the winter as we gear up for 2012.

If anyone is interested in joining our series, we still have our rental car available. We have had lots of inquiries on the rental car, but no one committing to it as yet. First one to drop a deposit on it, will get it for the entire season. PM me if you are interested. We also can get cars already built. Turn key cars in the $8K to 12K range.

Ladies and Gentlemen :
We now have 8 (eight) and counting.
If you are serious about road-racing and want to have fun at a minimal cost this is the series to get involved in.
Bruce and i will make it VERY attractive for you to rent a Spec Miata or get in a Spec Miata race car for the 2012 Spec Miata Championship... now is the time to decide.

Get in the game now!!!
More incentives coming soon, stay tuned.....

2012 Spec Miata Championship Update;

This is just a minor announcement to say that the Spec Miata Championship Drivers Association (Blu & Bruce) are working hard on the series details for 2012, and we will make an important announcement in January. 2012 will be bigger & better for sure.

We now have 8 cars committed for 2012. Thats really incredible when you think that we only had 3 cars last year. If any of you guys are sitting on the fence and really not sure if you want to get into this series, please give me a call or PM. I can let you know of all the options on car selection, whats available, price to get into the game, option to build or buy, etc. I will tell you one thing. The Spec Miata seems to me the only race car that holds its value more than most. You can buy one of these, race it for a couple of years, and then sell it for near what you paid for it.

Yes, save your 500 for the street. And build the Miata for the track. It would be nice for you to join our growing ranks!
