Hi Folks

I recently attempted to order a set of R888 for my Elise. Apparently, the fronts (195/50/16) are made in Japan...yeah. The rears (225/45/17) are made in NA.

I'm not sure if the Spec Miata tire size (205/50/15) is made in Japan or NA, but it might be worth asking sooner rather than later. Apparently, they are attempting to shift some production to NA or elsewhere. So, hopefully there will be no interruptions for race tire supply. My tire guy is gone away this week, but I should know more when he returns.

Perhaps Bruce has some insight on this already, but I thought I'd mention it. I'd hate to see the series lose some momentum over a tire shortage.

We have been informed the tire size for competitors in Spec Miata Championship is available through out the year.
