I was at AMP most of Sunday for the 1st Race, but I was unable to get out of the Ford Flex and do any walking My disability (BMD) has caught up with me , so the only thing I can drive is my latest hot road - a FWD Quantum 4, all electric , adjustable elevation and seat tilt. It’s top speed is 6 mph, and believe me it’s. more than fast enough. Won’t be winning any races with this one.
I was quite pleased to see the car count up to 20. However 2 of the starts were rather disappointing (too fast) but 2 of the starts were absolutely perfect. I was unable to stay for the 51 Lap so missed that start.
We are working away at bringing the Re-vamped Cortina back out on the track after a 3 year absence. Still some bugs to work out so we are looking at August or September. Finally got the initial startup out of the way. Go to YouTube “Scotia Garage” to view the start. First time I’ve seen the driver to do a Jigg.

I had pole for some unknown reason (certainly wasn't for being fastest last year) and I slowed the field right down to my sweet spot in 2nd gear ...all I could see in my mirror when we launched was a bunch of prostocks all crabbing sideways spinning their wheels  ...didn't take long for most of them to catch and go around me though, Lol

Hope your feeling better and look forward to seeing your new buggy

Stacy

Thanks Stacey
The next step is to be able to transport the power chair- no able to load it in my Flex as hatch not large enough for a wheel chair lift and ramps would be too steep. On the search for a wheel chair accessible van , a used one not new. Really hard to come up with. Found one in Montreal and another in Florida- the owner is Canadian and is willing to deliver to Canada. Not hearing back from the owner so it could be sold
Looking for a Dodge Grand Caravan or Chrysler Town & Country with a dropped floor, kneeler system , removable driver and passenger seat (quick connect) , wheel chair tie downs, power side door and ramp. Keep a lookout.
