TRAC Series – Supplementary Rules & Regulations Sept 18th, 19th, 2021

Unfortunately due to the Covid-19 restrictions not being lifted the East Coast Mini Stock Tour is unable to join us. We will try again for 2022.
Expect the paddock to be full. Please all race trailers need to be Parked Nosed into the paddock spots. All support vehicles, crew cars or tow rigs need to be parked in front of your trailer or down in the Lower paddock. (Gravel area.)

Deadline: Please register online by Sept 17 at 12:00 NOON to avoid any late fees. ($25)

You must still report to registration on race day to confirm your entry. All drivers, entrants, and crew are required to sign the official waiver form for the event Prior to entrance to the track premises or the earliest staffed opportunity.

Please have all Crew who have not already signed an annual waiver fill out and bring to the event to reduce contact.

Exclusions: The race organizers reserve the right to exclude from racing all those who fail to comply with the rules of the ARMS handbook and these supplementary regulations.

--2 Series Debert, Pennfield, Includes 1-hour Vantage VW Challenge $500

--Rookies: $250 per driver
--$50 charge for a second or third driver in 1-hour who did not run in a series that day.
--$60 charge for cars that participate in Saturday practice without paying race day fees that weekend.

All payments payable to ARMS. E-transfer or paypal only to treasurer@armsinc.ca. PayPal (additional fee applies).

Car owners must make sure all the drivers of their vehicles are licensed, registered and have paid the appropriate fees. Unregistered drivers found to be racing will be black flagged and cannot continue until they have completed their paperwork. For a second offense there will be a $200.00 fine to the car owner.

COVID-19 Rules and Guidelines.

The Tower, timing and all out buildings are off limits. Bathrooms will be open at 8AM and closed at the days end. All areas will be disinfected on a regular basis. Please Do not touch any other person, gear or cars. Only drivers and their crew are allowed within their teams paddock. Tech, and officials will only enter if required.

Masks are required during drivers meetings and anytime when social distancing is not able. We understand while the Province's guidelines may change prior to this event, We still highly suggest wearing a mask anytime we are in a group.

1 Crew member should be assigned by each team to help the driver In/Out of the car. Masks and gloves must be worn.
Overnight camping is allowed provided you're self-contained. Washrooms are closed overnight and parking is limited.


Gate Fees: Race License includes the gate fee for the racer only; all crew members and associated personnel are required to pay the $10 per person or $20 a car load admission fee at the gate.

Refunds/Credits: If a race driver/entrant has registered, and has a mechanical breakdown during practice or qualifying, a 50% credit will be issued for another race day – no refunds.

In the event of a race car mechanical breakdown after the driver/entrant has taken a green flag for a race, no refund will be made. If a race day cannot continue then all expenses will be paid, and any remaining money will be divided proportionally amongst entrants.

Technical Inspection: No race car will be allowed on the track until passed by the Technical Inspector. Cars may be required to re-pass technical inspection after an incident or upon request of the scrutineer. All cars must display the annual tech decal on the driver's side of the windshield or, for open wheel cars, on the driver’s side roll bar.

Helmets:
All Helmets must have drivers' name on the Left side. First initial and full last name Minimum. This is for MRT so they know who they are dealing with in the event of an incident.

Scoring: Mylaps Electronic Timing System will be used. All race cars are required to correctly install a transponder in accordance to the requirements. Transponders may be rented at registration if necessary. Only ARMS approved transponder units may be used. Racing will be scored in one of two ways: time to complete a set number of laps, or laps per set amount of time.

SAFETY CAR:
Safety car will be used during the Race weekend.

1 Hour 5 Min mandatory Pit stop.
Failure to Make Mandatory Pit Stops Where mandatory pit stops are specified in Series or Supplementary Regulations, failure to make the pit stop shall be result in a ten (10) lap penalty.
If the 1 Hour is stopped or Not Restarted prior to the 5 Min remaining mark, All cars that have not pitted will receive a 4 Lap penalty.

Official Bulletin Board: An official bulletin board will be maintained at Registration inside the Guthrie Building. Race organizers will consider this area as Race Headquarters for the event.

Insurance: Stoneridge Race Insurance.

Other Regulations
Gate: GATE HAS ENTRANT CONTROL!! Gate will require Name, Number, a Pre-signed waiver (Attached above) and covid-19 questions asked. Please do this as they ask and it should keep the flow going. If no one is at the gate when you arrive on a race weekend, you must check in with the race director. Ask for Joel Nelson if unsure on who that is.

Pit Lane: no open-toed shoes or shorts allowed. Only pit crew and drivers are allowed on pit lane. Paddock: Paddock stalls are on the right side of the paddock only. The middle of the paddock is for pre-grid and the pit wall area is for service crews during a race. All gear must be removed after each race.

Paddock Transport: Any ATV, golf cart or other motorized paddock transportation must be clearly identifiable to a driver/entrant (by car # affixed to the vehicle) and must be operated in a safe manner by an adult only.

Waste Oil: There are no waste oil services at the track. Please remove your own waste oil. Each race team should have on hand, minimum: • 10 Absorbent Pads 16” x 20” (Carquest part #7710 or equivalent.) Spill/clean-up fees incurred by ARMS on behalf of racers will be billed to racers/teams and payable immediately.

Fire Suppression: Each race team should have on hand, minimum: • 5lbs ABC Fire Extinguisher out where it is readily accessible • 10 Quick-dry pads

Refueling: Rules remain the same.
Specifically:
Fuel containers shall only be moved to the pit after the car has stopped. The driver must be out of the car and the car turned off before any refueling begins. The refueler must be protected by a full nomex suit, balaclava, socks and shoes and full coverage helmet. A crew member must be standing by with a fully charged ABC fire extinguisher (min. 5lb) ready in case of emergency. Only after the refueling is complete may the driver reenter the car. No working on the car during refueling.

Speed: Paddock area speed is 10km/h. Paddock speed limit starts at the main entrance gate and covers the entire facility.
Pit lane speed limit is 40km/h.

Alcohol & Drugs: Neither alcoholic beverages nor drugs may be consumed in the paddock/pit area before the end of the race day program. No driver may consume alcohol/Drugs 8 hours before competing. Drivers may be asked to submit to a breathalyzer test.

Any driver operating a motor vehicle on the track, other than when entered in a sanctioned event, or at the request or permission of race control, will be disqualified.

No sitting or riding on the exterior of a moving vehicle.

No bare feet in the paddock.

Food: We plan to have a food truck onsite. Always check prior for more info. Due to Covid19 we may have to change.

Drones: The use of drones/UAVs/RPVs is not permitted within the park boundaries and airspace.


Driver’s Meeting
Attendance is mandatory at the driver’s meeting. Drivers not in attendance will start from pit lane after the green flag has dropped for all races entered that day. Face Masks are Mandatory during the drivers meeting.
