The rule book needs some serious upgrading and has needed this for a long time. 4 years ago I worked on and presented a section of the rule book including re- numbering the topics, adding what was missing and deleting anything that was duplicated. Not sure if anything was done with my presentation of the section I was working on Believe others were going to complete other sections but I appears everything got shoved under the carpet for possible future consideration.
I am willing to carry on with this work for the entire rule book but I would appreciate others stepping in to assist me. Any willing volunteers out there? If we can get this completed by November 2021 then the changes could possibility be approved at the 2021 AGM.
Gerald Elliott.

Hey Gerry,

A group of official's, Race director and myself went over the General rules last winter. Before the AGM and all the changes were gone over at the AGM. Daphne also updated the numbering system and I believe it is on the website now.

Last Race committee call we did get talking about the Grand touring section as it has some stuff either missing or way out of date. Going to guess the open wheel rules are even more out of date.

I would be most interested in working the GT section as part of the group taking a serious look at the rules. After all these 52 years in Motorsport must amount to something.
Did Daphne use the numbering system I recommended in my report to James Whitman. It’s based on the existing SCCS numbering system.
