A few potential dates for people to consider discussing. I would like to attend at least one of these, but it's always better to travel with friends. Convoy, team work, and good fun!

July 13-14: Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park; New England Region (Connecticut) - SCCA Northeast Major

August 9: Calabogie Motorsports Park (Ontario) - Calabogie GT Challenge

September 26-29: Mont Tremblant Fall Classic (Quebec) - Sadly I cannot attend due to a conflict in my schedule, but it is a hell of a time.

October 5-6: 2019 CASC / CTMP Celebration Of Motorsport - Leigh might be interested in this.

Let me know if there is any interest in attending any of these, as I am very interested in the first two! Crew, other cars, whatever!

I'm interested! Car-wise I don't roll in the same league as any of you fast guys, but I love my road trips.

You would fit in somewhere with some cars to play with in Tremblant, I would expect. Calabogie you're familiar with. The other two I can't speak to. I know the SCCA Majors used to have a full spec miata class, so that would be interesting if it is still running.

The August event at Calabogie is (I think) their Powell weekend, which has a big vintage component. It would be a lot of fun, provided that you could get enough track time to make the tow worthwhile. I loved the track when we went last year, and found the folks there super friendly/helpful.

I've seen the track at Thompson from outside of the fence, and (while nice) I don't think it would make it onto my 'bucket list' of must-do tracks. Still, a big SCCA event would be awesome, no matter what the venue. Spec Miata would definitely run, but unfortunately I don't fit in that class any more.

I've never been to Tremblant, but constantly hear how beautiful it is. The event you mentioned is built around vintage stuff too, isn't it? It also has the added benefit of being in Canada - crossing borders with race cars/trailers/tools sort of gives me the willies. I'll do it, but probably worry myself sick beforehand.

Schedule-wise, I'm probably most interested in doing something at the end of our season since it's going to end early due to track maintenance. The Mosport event would therefore be awesome. And I've never been there either. But it's a longer tow than any of the others mentioned.

There's a new track in New England called Palmer that I'd really like to see, but the schedule there doesn't seem to work. I looked at their end-of-season event (called the 'pig roast' weekend) but it's September 8-9, which I think conflicts with the JCM prep.

There's also a Divisonal SCCA event at Thompson in October, if you really wanted to go there. I know it's not a 'Major', but if it's anything like the Divisonal event we went to at Limerock a few years ago there would be a pretty good car count for that one as well. And the timing is better than the one earlier in the year for me.

For reference, the SCCA NER schedule can be found here: https://pittalk.org/road-racing/2019-ne ... available/

Thompson is more because it's a major, and not to do with the track. I'm still considering towing all the way to Road Atlanta the same weekend for their major (I have to be in Chicago the following week so it is tempting).

Tremblant has Vintage, as well as GT and open wheel. It's really just a bunch of everything. I focus on GT with my car, as I don't qualify for any vintage series for almost another 5-10 years.

Thanks for linking the NER Schedule.
