I think the regional series itself needs some discussion. 3 weekends and we still only had single digit competitors go to all 3 events. Feels like it's on a downward trend the past few years.

An idea floating around the paddock this year has been what about just slemon as the regional? One weekend, no drops.

I'd support that. Let's bring a little prestige back to a regional championship. Has a little Lincoln vibe to it. Having 4 or 5 contenders for a regional champion is not great. Pushing Slemon as the high profile event for the season would hopefully get the attendance way up and create a lot of good competition. The lot in SJ did not look suitable for a regional, and Digby hardly draws anyone outside of ascc.
