Pretty cool car and a decent deal . I'm pretty sure the transmission/diffs/suspension are the special part of the car though, it's just a normal legacy GT motor.

Subaru performance in a car that nobody notices. Someone should pick it up so I can match race

The Spec B is an awesome machine. It also fetches ridiculous market prices because its so rare. An STI is a better value (but also a lot more in your face)

This looks like a fun ride, not my favorite 9xx body style, but quite the mod list!

Could be wrong, but I believe it's being sold by a fellow named "Keith Brooks" now
He's known throughout the Maritimes for peddling junk

I've always admired how convincing these Corson kits were (except for the wheelbase length):

I see your Corson 512BB (looks nice!) and raise you a Countach 25th Anniversary replica. While it's here in NL (NL plates), I've never seen it. It looks nicely built though in the pics.

They're on a lot of top 10 worst cars to buy used lists. Tons of 'When, not if' high dollar repair issues. Too bad, they're a really nice package when they work.

Agreed.

I've always thought that a car choice should suit the owner's personality, and "Jazz" matches my daughters perfectly ...and therefore is worth the headaches:
Image

However to get the "never driven in the winter, 86K Justa" up to snuff for her resulted in me now owning Smurfette (the wannabe M3) again for a low price

Note that dig hard enough though, and there are less expensive solutions to repairing a MINI than Joe Public would probably know. For instance most people don't know that the power steering can be fixed under warranty, the complete innards of a Midland transmission (gears, bearings, shafts, forks and differential, clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing ...everything you need except the alloy maincase) can be had from the UK for $535usd, Bosch oxygen sensors can be had from Rockauto for $100usd, etc...

Yeah, assuming you can do most of those repairs yourself. You may be able to buy the guts of the transmission cheap but 98% of people out there aren't going to be able to rebuild the box even if they're handy.

Not at all Stacy!

It means you laid down a wicked burn on Scott.

I apologize my off-colour way of complimenting you was not well taken.

Well used 350Z with an opening bid of $4K.

(almost as good a speed per dollar ratio as a mid '90's F-body without the mulletude)

I'm interested to see what it'll go for. sometimes there are really good deals on cars. other times I get outbid on a car by 20 dollars :orgshifty:. Lol. Would make a decent winter beater if it's not already rotten. although one image seems to show a hack fender-rust repair...

Winter beater?! Greg I knew you had strange opinions on cars, but this one is beyond me! It's RWD with like 3" of ground clearance and an open diff!
