Good price, wonder how many times it has been smashed.

Here's a cool S2000 with an LS. It'd cost way more to do this yourself than what he has it listed for. The cost of a clean AP1, plus the engine/trans/rear end would put you way over 18k. You could probably sell the work wheels and replica hardtop for enough to make this as cheap as a stock AP1, but with 3x the torque!

Thanks, but he want's how much for a non-Quattro! 8O

If I wanted a garish awd vehicle as that ...I'd just go bid on this on Tuesday and park it outside a Trump rally with a fence around it:

Another inexpensive S2000. Could be had a little cheaper if you get rid of the 'full coilovers' and 'full exhaust'. I've never heard of the brand 'Full' but they're probably not great.

I'll even come look at it with you to make sure it's not a pile!

oops! got too excited about that one. he's asking 10.5 but said he'd take 9 with the stock parts reinstalled. the stock suspension alone is nearly guaranteed to be better than whatever is on it, given he didn't mention a brand

Ap2 under 10k? Wouldn't touch it without putting it on a frame measuring machine :P

ap1 with a glass soft top from an ap2. this is probably the cheapest S2000 i've seen around since I bough mine. It might not be too bad, but i'd take a good look underneath since there's a suzuka blue Ap1 around nova scotia that's been winter driven and apparently is beat to hell.

I did recently come across a theft recovery 2006 AP2 on impactauto, it was missing door cards and airbags, but it looked complete. would have been a much better track pig than a neon. anybody around here buy from impact/copart?

Didn't even look at the year, whoops.

See if this guy will take a lowball. Might as well have 3 EFs with B16s at AMP. They're pretty dead reliable as long as the axle angles aren't wonky. And even if you break one it really doesn't take long to swap to a spare.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/1morela ... 6684328092

Would need cage work for W2W, but if the main bars are done well it'd really just be some doorbars.

Still may finish my R8 project first though before tackling this one... but I'm now in the market for a Foxbody Mustang with good mechanicals

Decent looking ap1 that just popped up. Doesn't mention if it comes with the OEM parts. The price is a bit high for a modified AP1, but the strengthened diff housing (weak point on s2k's, he doesn't say exactly what puddymod did though) is good to have, plus the rpf1's. The coilovers on the car are more than likely junk, but finding OEM is easy/cheap!

$15K seems like a huge pile of cash for a modded car with nearly 210K kms on it!

Definitely a lot of money, but they're never cheap unless they're completely trashed. 10k is the cheapest I've seen in the past three years. That's closer to what this one should be, but the diff 2k USD plus the roll bar are redeeming.

Anyone looking for an LSx swap donor? This piece of junk looks to have the desirable 310 hp aluminum block/heads 5.3 L (L33).

Good catch, normally I just keep an eye out for the SS models of the Trailblazer as not too many had V8's (...although I thought that only the extended cabs had the bigger engine?)

3 years ago when yet another catalytic converter (8th I think?) went on my 6cyl Trailblazer; it was the last straw after replacing EVERYTHING and I mean everything, sometimes more than once (three transmissions, motor, stainless exhaust twice, front diff four times) between the five clutch fans to three rearend diffs (oh wait ...and the rear tailgate when the window fell off) I decreed very loudly and in front of witnesses that just one more thing goes and I'm junking it!

...it's never cost me another cent since

I once launched a friend's built AWD TBSS on a 200 shot of nitrous - it was a life-changing experience. That one did not last 460K kms.
